Mysuru: Five accused in burning alive four members of a family awarded lifer

Mysuru, June 26(UNI) Fourth Additional District and Sessions Court Judge Hosamani Pundalik convicted and awarded Life Term to five accused on charges of burning alive four members of a family.

The Judge also slapped a fine of Rs Two lakh on each of the convicted.

The convicted poured petrol on four family members torched them and burnt. Three others were also brutally attacked by the convicted on March 30,2014.

Haseena, Adil, Zabeena, Sayedd and Zareena Taj were convicted by the court, while another accused Kousar died during the hearing of the case.

Udayagiri police had filed the charge sheet, Public Prosecutor Dharaneever apprised the court about the involvement of Haseena and her family members in the murder of four people.
