Narendra Modi mourns death of Manipur Governor Syed Ahmed

New Delhi, Sept 27 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday mourned the death of Manipur Governor Syed Ahmed.

Modi sad he was 'saddened'  by the death of the 'experienced leader'.

"Manipur Governor Shri Syed Ahmed was an experienced leader who held many positions in his long political career. Saddened by his demise. RIP," he tweeted.

Ahmed died in a Mumbai hospital on Sunday. He was 73.
