Appreciating party workers, Modi said: "Today, it is due to the performance of the workers that BJP has emerged as a banyan tree across the country."

He said the dedicated performance of workers have helped the party form  structured organisation in every nook and corner of the country.

He said: "At one point in time, BJP did not have structured organisation on the ground in many parts of the country. But today, it has spread to every nook and corner of the country due to sheer hard work and dedication of millions of selfless karyakartas."

Describing BJP's emergence as a strong force in the north eastern states, Modi said: "The Sun is red at the time of sunset and turns saffron when it rises."

Modi said the words while addressing the BJP Karyakartas following victory in Tripura Assembly polls and making a strong impact in the north-eastern region.
