New Delhi, July 16 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a rally in West Bengal's Paschim Medinipur district on Monday.

Hailing the Centre's decision to increase the minimum support price of 14 kharif (summer) crops, BJP leader and Central Minister Babul Supriyo on Sunday said it will benefit the farmers of the country.

He said the move will strengthen faith upon the government.

"The #HistoricMSPHike decision by PM Shri @narendramodi ji led government has not only changed Farmer's outlook towards farming bt has also strengthened their faith in the Government. Medinipur gets ready to shower their love on Hon'ble PM. #ProdhanmontriAschen," Supriyo tweeted.

BJP leader Rahul Sinha earlier said he visited the ground where the PM will address the rally on Monday.

Sinha tweeted: "Visited the Medinipore Ground for Inspection where our Hon'ble PM @narendramodi ji will address the #KrishakSambeshRally on 16th July, 2018. #MediniporeChalo."
