Naveen Patnaik's BJD all set to retain power in Odisha

New Delhi, May 23 (UNI) The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) is all set to retain power in Odisha assembly poll as per the latest trend.

According to EC at 1215 hrs, the BJD is leading in 99 seats while BJP is leading in 30 seats.

The Congress Party is leading in 12 seats.

The Communist Party of India, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and an independent are leading in one seat each.

Odisha has 146 assembly seats and trends for 137 seats have come so far.

The current trend will put to rest all questions about the fifth term for Naveen Patnaik in the cyclone-prone state.
