New Delhi: 180 doctors test positive

New Delhi/UNI: More than 180 doctors in six large hospitals in Delhi have tested positive for Covid-19 amid a steep rise in daily infections.

Informed sources told UNI that the figure may reach 250 by the evening.

Sources said as many as 60 doctors at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and 50 in Safdarjung Hospital have contracted Covid in the last few days.

Around 25 medicos have turned up positive at THE Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital.

Sources at the Maulana Azad Medical College said more than 20 doctors from different branches were in isolation after testing positive.

At Lady Hardinge Medical College, around 20 healthcare workers have contracted Covid-19, the sources said.

At the Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital said that many doctors were reporting Covid like symptoms.
