Northern Command Army Commander reviews security along LoC

Jammu/IBNS/UNI: Northern Command Army Commander Lieutenant General Upendra Dwivedi on Wednesday reviewed the security scenario along the Line of Control in Rajouri and Poonch districts of Jammu and Kashmir.

Lt Gen Dwivedi visited two units along the Line of Control in Poonch and in Rajouri sectors to review operational preparedness.

He was briefed on the Counter Infiltration grid and processes being adopted, said an official.

Lt Gen Dwivedi said that the Army Commander appreciated the measures adopted and lauded the troops for maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.

He further exhorted them to be fully prepared to meet all contingencies.
