Islamabad, Nov 29 (IBNS): Outgoing Pakistan Army chief Raheel Sharif warned India and said it should not consider the neighbouring nation's 'policy of restraint' as 'weakness'.

"I want to make it clear to India that considering our policy of restraint a weakness would be dangerous for her," Sharif was quoted as saying by Geo News.

Pakistan's new army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Tuesday said the ongoing situation at the Line of Control (LoC) will be "alright" in the upcoming days.

"It will be alright," Bajwa was quoted as saying by Dawn News.

Bajwa on Tuesday took charge as the Chief of the Pakistani Army.

Outgoing military chief Gen Raheel Sharif handed over the charge to the new chief.

Pakistan army spokesperson Gen Asim Bajwa tweeted: "#COAS Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa assumes command of Pakistan Army today."
