Pakistan violates truce in Rajouri's Keri sector, JCO martyred

| @indiablooms | Sep 02, 2020, at 04:30 pm

Jammu/UNI: A Junior Commissioned Officer on Wednesday attained martyrdom as Pakistan troops yet again violated the ceasefire by firing unprovoked along the Line of Control in Keri Sector of Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir.

Defence sources here said that Pakistan resorted to an unprovoked ceasefire violation on Wednesday and used small arms in Keri sector of Rajouri.

“The JCO suffered bullet injuries and later he succumbed,” sources added. They further added that the Indian army gave befitting reply to cross border firing. Earlier on August 30, one JCO martyred in ceasefire violation by Pakistan in Nowshera sector of Rajouri.

The Pakistani army has frequently resorted to unprovoked Ceasefire Violations along the LoC post abrogation of Article 370 on August 5 last year.
