PM Modi congratulates Sanjita Chanu on winning gold in CWG weightlifting event
New Delhi, Apr 6 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday congratulated Weightlifter K Sanjita Chanu on winning the Gold Medal at Commonwealth Games.
The PM said, "A second Gold for India! Congratulations to K Sanjita Chanu on winning the Gold Medal in the Women’s 53 kg weightlifting event."
"The nation is overjoyed by this exemplary performance," he added.
Weightlifter Khumukcham Sanjita Chanu delivered India its second gold medal of the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast City, Australia on Friday.
