New Delhi/IBNS: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will celebrate Diwali on Sunday with soldiers guarding the LoC, media reports said.

The Prime Minister arrived in bordering district Rajouri today to celebrate the festival with the troops.

His arrival coincided with the infantry day which marks the entry of the Indian Army in  Jammu & Kashmir in 1947 to push back the Pakistani forces from the region.

The Prime Minister directly flew to the Army Brigade Headquarters to interact with the troops posted on the LoC, reports added.

This is PM Modi's third visit to the troops posted in Jammu & Kashmir on Diwali and first after the abrogation of Article 370 and 35A.
