PM Modi joins Ganesh Chaturthi celebration at CJI DY Chandrachud's home, performs aarti

New Delhi/IBNS: Prime Minister Narendra Modi Wednesday took part in Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations at Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud's home.

The chief justice and his wife were seen welcoming PM Modi to their residence in a video.

"Joined Ganesh Puja at the residence of CJI, Justice DY Chandrachud Ji. May Bhagwan Shri Ganesh bless us all with happiness, prosperity and wonderful health," PM Modi shared in a post.

The Prime Minister was seen wearing a traditional Maharashtrian cap.

He even performed aarti of the Lord Ganesha with DY Chandrachud and his wife.

The grand Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations commenced in full swing across India on Saturday.

The ten-day-long festival will conclude on September 17 with devotees bidding farewell to Lord Ganesha by immersing his idols.
