PM Modi lauds IN-SPACe, ISRO for launching two payloads of Indian startups

Bengaluru/UNI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi Friday congratulated IN-SPACe and ISRO for successfully launching two payloads of Indian startups in Space by PSLV C53 mission.

In a tweet, Modi said, "The PSLV C53 mission has achieved a new milestone by launching two payloads of Indian Start-ups in Space. Congratulations @INSPACeIND and @isro for enabling this venture. Confident that many more Indian companies will reach Space in near future."

The Indian National Space Promotion and Authorization Centre (IN-SPACe) is a nodal body that provides excellent opportunities for youth with the best scientific minds to showcase their talent.

"The sky is not the limit for the private space sector which will not just be the vendors but big winners. IN-SPACe has the potential to revolutionize the space sector in India with space exploration, tourism and space diplomacy playing key roles," Modi had said after inaugurating IN-SPACe on Jun 13 in Ahmedabad.

The body will also seek newer avenues of involvement between ISRO and the private sector.

Existing ISRO infrastructure will be made accessible to the space industry to enable them to test their space-related activities.
