PM Modi pays homage to Nanaji Deshmukh, JP Narayan on birth anniversary

New Delhi, Oct 11 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday paid homage to late social activist Nanaji Deshmukh and politician Jayprakash Narayan on their respective birth anniversaries.

Hailing Narayan's contribution as 'invaluable', the PM tweeted, "I bow to Loknayak Jayprakash Narayan on his birth anniversary. His contribution towards preserving India’s democratic ideals is invaluable."

PM Modi also addressed Deshmukh as a stalwart and said, "Nanaji Deshmukh was a stalwart blessed with a penchant for selfless service to society. Tributes to him on his birth anniversary."
