New Delhi/UNI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will have a bilateral meeting with US President Joe Biden during his visit to Washington for the first in-person Quad Leaders Summit on September 24.

There is a likelihood of bilateral meetings with the other Quad leaders -- Prime Minister Scott Morrison of Australia and Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga of Japan, if “time permits”, the MEA said on Thursday.

“While the Prime Minister is in Washington he will also have a bilateral meeting with President Biden," Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said at a media briefing here.

"We also look forward to bilateral meetings with other Quad leaders, time permitting, as well as bilateral meetings with some other leaders while he is in New York on September 25,” he said.
