Police impose Section 144 in Maharashtra's Shivaji Park area over possible anti-social elements

Mumbai/IBNS/UNI: The Mumbai Police Wednesday imposed Section 144 and prohibited flying activities around Shivaji Park in the Dadar area ahead of the Maharashtra Day celebration on May 1.

According to the Mumbai Police, there is a possibility of terrorist/anti-social elements trying to use the air space for a breach of peace and disturbance of public tranquility.

According to the police, the order was passed to prevent any untoward activity.

The order shall remain in force for 24 hours, with effect from 00.00 hrs to 24.00 hrs on May 1 unless withdrawn earlier.
