President Mukherjee wishes ahead of National Day of Ghana

New Delhi, Mar 6 (IBNS): President Pranab Mukherjee on Monday extended his greetings and felicitations to the Government and people of the Republic of Ghana on the occasion of their National Day.

In a message to Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the President of the Republic of Ghana, the President said, “On behalf of the Government, the people of India and on my own behalf, it gives me great pleasure to extend warm greetings and felicitations to you and to the people of the Republic of Ghana on your National Day."

Mukherjee said: "India and Ghana have a time-tested relationship of friendship and robust co-operation. I am confident that our multi-faceted relations will grow from strength to strength in the coming years."

He said: "I take this opportunity to convey our good wishes for Your Excellency’s good health and well-being as well as for the progress and prosperity of the friendly people of the Republic of Ghana."
