President of India’s message on the occasion of National Day of Cabo Verde

New Delhi, Sep 12 (IBNS): President of India Pranab Mukherjee has extended his greetings and felicitations to the Government and people of the Republic of Cabo Verde on the occasion of their National Day (September 12, 2016).

Cabo Verde, or Cape Verde, is located on a volcanic archipelago off the northwest coast of Africa.

In a message to the President of the Republic of Cabo Verde, Jorge Carlos de Almeida Fonseca,  the Indian President has said, “On behalf of the Government, the people of India and on my own behalf, it is with great pleasure that I extend warm greetings and felicitations to you and to the people of the Republic of Cabo Verde on the occasion of your National Day.

I am confident that the warm and friendly relations between our two countries will be further strengthened in the years to come for the mutual benefit of our peoples.

Please accept, Excellency, my best wishes for your good health and continued well-being as also for the progress and prosperity of the friendly people of the Republic of Cabo Verde.”
