President of Israel Reuven Rivlin reaches India

New Delhi, Nov 14 (IBNS): President of Israel Reuven Rivlin landed in India on Monday upon the invitation of India President Pranab Mukherjee.

"Tomorrow, President Mukherjee will officially greet President Rivlin during a welcoming ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan. President Rivlin will then proceed to Rajgath to pay his respects and tribute at the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial," read an official statement issued by the Embassy of Israel.

President Rivlin will also meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Hyderabad House.

During the day, President Rivlin is expected to meet Vice President Mohammad Hamid Ansari.

In the evening, President Mukherjee will host President Rivlin for a gala dinner at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
