Prime Minister Modi meets Council of Ministers

New Delhi, June 2 (IBNS): A week after he took oath as the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi held his first meeting with the Council of Ministers in New Delhi on Monday.

According to reports, Modi urged his ministers to work for efficient governance 

" He also directed his ministers to choose their staff members carefully and strictly told them against employing their relatives," CNN-IBN reported.

The meeting reportedly lasted for more than three hours.

PostIng a picture of the meeting, PMOIndia tweeted: " A picture of the Prime Minister chairing the meeting of the Council of Ministers at 7, Race Course Road ."
