Priyanka Gandhi Vadra questions UP govt's decision to hold B.Ed entrance exam on Aug 9
Lucknow/UNI: Congress general secretary in-charge of eastern Uttar Pradesh, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, on Tuesday questioned the decision of the government to hold B.Ed entrance exams during the Coronavirus pandemic.
In her post on Facebook, Priyanka said, "The speed of the corona in the state is increasing rapidly. The cases of Corona infections have also appeared from different educational institutions.

"In such a way, it does not seem to be appropriate to put around 4.5 lakh students in risk to assess the security of students without. The UP Government is requested to ponder over the exam program, keeping in mind the current circumstances."
Several other opposition political leaders too have questioned the holding of the entrance exams at this juncture.
Over 4.5 lakh students were expected to participate in these offline exams to be held in two sessions throughout the state.
