New Delhi/IBNS: A SpiceJet flight flying from Delhi to Pune was Thursday searched after a phone call claimed that there was a bomb on a plane.

The flight was supposed to take off from Delhi's IGI Airport at 6.30 pm.

On receiving the call about the bomb threat, airline officials halted the boarding and informed the bomb squad.

All the passengers and crew members are safe and the aircraft is being searched.

However, authorities haven't found anything suspicious yet.

Paramilitary force CISF and Delhi police are also on standby.

Authorities are also trying to trace the caller and ascertain if it was a hoax call.
