Sangrur/UNI: Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP) Chief Minister candidate and MP Bhagwant Mann on Saturday filed his nomination from Dhuri constituency in the Punjab assembly elections.

Mann, who started his political career with the Manpreet Singh Badal-led Punjab Peoples Party in 2011, joined AAP and won the Lok Sabha election from Sangrur, defeating veteran Akali Dal leader Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa, in 2014.

He was re-elected from Sangrur in 2019. Voting for assembly elections in Punjab will be held on February 20.
