Rahul Gandhi describes PM Modi's fitness video as 'bizarre'?

New Delhi, Jun 14 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi has probably failed to impress Congress president Rahul Gandhi with the fitness video as it was described as "bizarre" by the latter, media reports said.

According to several media reports, Rahul was seen discussing about the video with several opposition leaders including CPI-M General Secretary Sitaram Yechury at the Iftar party, which was hosted by the Congress president on Wednesday.

In a video shared by the Congress on Instagram, Rahul could be heard saying, "But its bizarre...bizarre...."

Several other leaders like Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Dinesh Trivedi, former Presidents Pratibha Patil and Pranab Mukherjee, who were present at the same table, were smiling in response to the Congress president's comment.

Accepting Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli's fitness challenge, Modi on Wednesday morning shared a video where he could be seen training hard.

Modi could be seen doing yoga and also walking on tracks.

Tweeting the video, the PM said: "Here are moments from my morning exercises. Apart from Yoga, I walk on a track inspired by the Panchtatvas or 5 elements of nature - Prithvi, Jal, Agni, Vayu, Aakash. This is extremely refreshing and rejuvenating. I also practice breathing exercises. #HumFitTohIndiaFit"

Even as Congress was miffed with Pranab Mukherjee, the former Indian President was seen having a special place at Rahul Gandhi's Iftaar party on Wednesday, which was majorly seen as a show of opposition strength.

The Iftar was held at Delhi's Taj Palace Hotel. It was attended by CPM's Sitaram Yechury, DMK's Kanimozhi, RJD's Manoj Jha and Sharad Yadav.

Danish Ali, leader of Karnataka's Janata Dal (Secular), was also present.
