A horrifying video has gone viral where a husband could be seen riding on her motorcycle with her wife tied to the back of the vehicle as she screamed in pain in Rajasthan's Nagaur district.

The man was identified as 32-year-old Premaram Meghwal.

Police investigated the incident and arrested the man after the video went viral.

No one intervened to stop the man from performing the act.

Speaking with India Today, Nagaur's Superintendent of Police, Narayan Singh Togas, stated, "The incident involves a woman who insisted on visiting her sister in Jaisalmer against her husband's wishes. Despite her husband's refusal, she persisted and intended to go with her sister. In response, the husband tied her to the back of his motorcycle and dragged her, an act that was captured in the viral video."

The victim is reportedly staying with her relative at present.

She did not report the incident to authorities.

Sources told India Today Meghwal was an alcoholic who frequently assaulted his wife and isolated her from others in the village.
