Rajinikanth's wife Latha to face trial in fraud case, says SC

Chennai, July 10 (IBNS) Latha Rajinikanth, wife of southern superstar Rajinikanth, has been asked to face trial in a case of fraud by the Supreme Court on Tuesday.

She has been accused of failing to pay Rs. 6.20 crore of dues to advertising firm Ad Bureau.

The Supreme Court setting aside an earlier order of Karnataka High Court said the probe against her will continue after a charge-sheet.

Latha Rajinikanth is a film producer, playback singer and the founder and correspondent of The Ashram, a Chennai-based school, and is the chairperson of her daughter Soundarya's production company, Ocher Studios
