Rajnath Singh reaches Delhi AIIMS to visit ailing Vajpayee

New Delhi, Aug 16 (IBNS): Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday reached the Delhi AIIMS to visit ailing former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, whose health condition worsened in last 24 hours, media reports said.

Vajpayee has been kept on life support.

Vajpayee was admitted to the AIIMS with a kidney tract infection, urinary tract infection, low urine output and chest congestion.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is also flying to the national capital to visit the former Prime Minister, media reports said.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday evening visited Vajpayee in the hospital.

According to reports, the Prime Minister spent about 50 minutes in the hospital.
