Hamirpur/UNI: Preparations are in full swing for the day-long visit of Defense Minister Rajnath Singh to Bhadoli in poll-bound Himachal Pradesh Monday.

Singh will honour families of those martyrs who had sacrificed their lives post Independence in fighting for the nation.

Lekh Raj Rana, Chief of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav Organizing Committee told UNI Saturday that the defense minister will also address a massive rally before flying back to New Delhi after taking part in the Bhadoli program.

He said workers of the samiti and its main organisations were busy making grand arrangements. He said that a huge pandal was going to be ready by Saturday evening.

The workers of the committee have organized functions in all the 3,615 gram panchayats of the state and highlighted the role of martyrs for the nation, Rana said, insisting "it is a non political event in Bhadoli" and that they just " want to ignite patriotism among the masses".
