Reduced GST rates on Covid medicine extended till Dec 31: Nirmala Sitharaman

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Friday announced that the reduced GST rates on Covid medicines has been extended till December 31, from September 30.

The previous deadline was September 30.

The decision was taken by the GST Council to extend the concessional rates on drugs used in COVID-19 treatment.
