Russian contingent arrives for exercise Indra-2015
On arrival at the exercise area, the local Indian Army formation, led by Colonel N Prashanth, Contingent Commander Indian Battalion, extended a traditional and warm welcome to the guests of the friendly army.
The 250 strong Army contingent of Russia will take part in the 14 days military exercise with similar participation from Indian side.
The joint exercise between the two nations is one of the major bilateral defence cooperation activities and is the seventh in the series which commenced in 2003.
