Saradha: Srinjoy Bose hospitalized

Kolkata, Dec 1 (IBNS): Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Srinjoy Bose was admitted to the cardiology department of Seth Sukhlal Karnani Memorial (SSKM) hospital in Kolkata on Monday.

He had complained of  heart problems and breathing troubles.

Srinjoy Bose in now in jail custody up to Dec 5.

He was feeling ill from Sunday night and the jail authority hospitalized him on Monday morning.

A medical board has been formed for his treatment.

Doctors said that he was in stable condition and not in danger and needed rest for some days.

The CBI had arrested Srinjoy Bose under IPC sections 409 (criminal breach of trust), 420 (cheating), and under 120 B (criminal conspiracy) in relation to Saradha chit FUND scam on Nov 21.

Srinjoy Bose is the owner-editor of Bengali daily newspaper 'Sambad Protidin' and executive member of 'Mohun Bagan' football club. He is also the editor of Trinamool Congress (TMC) mouthpiece 'Jaago Bangla.'
