Section 144 imposed in Mumbai amid spike in Covid-19 cases

Mumbai/IBNS: Amid spike in the Novel Coronavirus cases in the financial capital of India, CrPc Section 144, which prohibits an assembly of five or more people, has been imposed in Mumbai.

Section 144 will remain in Mumbai from Jul 1 to 15 in all places.

The night curfew will remain imposed from 9 pm to 5 am.

1,74,761 people including 7,855 deaths and 90,911 cured have been infected with the contagion in Maharashtra.

India has already entered into Unlock 2 with several relaxations on socio-economic aspects of lives.
