Seven injured in BJP-CPI(M) clash near Thalassery
Kannur, Jun 16 (UNI): Seven people, including four CPI(M) cadres and three BJP workers, sustained minor injuries when a crude bomb was allegedly hurled during a clash at Namathumukku near Thalassery on Sunday evening.
An altercation between the party workers at a house-warming function led to the clash, police said.
The injured were admitted to Thalassery Cooperative hospital.
Police have been camping in Thalassery and nearby areas and the situation is under control.
