Soldier martyred in north Kashmir
Srinagar, Apr 6 (UNI) A soldier was martyred in apple township of Sopore in north Kashmir district of Baramulla on Saturday afternoon, official sources said.
They said militants shot at a soldier Mohammad Rafi Yatoo from very close range at Warpora, Sopore, in Baramulla.
Yatoo, who was on leave, was immediately rushed to local hospital where he was declared brought dead.
Security forces and police have launched a massive hunt to nab the militants responsible for the killing of soldier.
However, so far no militant outfit has claimed responsibility, they said.
