Sonia Gandhi not to celebrate her birthday this year

New Delhi, Dec 8 (IBNS): In wake of the recent terror and Naxal attacks in Jammu and Kashmir and Chhattisgarh, Congress supremo Sonia Gandhi has directed his partymen not to celebrate her birthday.

"In view of the tragic terror/naxal attacks in J&K and Chhattisgarh,Smt Sonia Gandhi has asked Congressmen not to celebrate her Birthday," Congress tweeted.

Gandhi will turn 68 on Tuesday.

This is her first birthday since BJP defeated her party in the last Lok Sabha polls to come to power at the Centre.

On Friday,  eleven security force personnel, including eight soldiers and three policemen, were killed in a militant attack on an Army camp in Mohara, Uri of Baramulla district.
