Supreme Court to hear Ramdev's plea today
New Delhi, May 9 (IBNS) The Supreme Court will on Friday hear a plea filed by yoga teacher Baba Ramdev requesting to club all the First Information Reports (FIRs) filed against him for his honeymoon remark on Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi and the Dalits.
On Apr 29, the Nagpur Police filed an FIR against Ramdev for his alleged remarks on Dalits.
Earlier, three FIRs were filed in Gorakhpur, Agra and Patna of Uttar Pradesh against him under the SC/ST Act seeking his arrest.
Ramdev is facing arrest over his comment 'Rahul Gandhi visits Dalit homes for honeymoons and picnics'.
