Swatchh Bharat Abhiyan to be observed Rashtrapati Bhavan

New Delhi, Oct 1 (IBNS) President's Secretariat and attached offices will remain open on Thursday in the forenoon in connection with "Swatchh Bharat Mission", officials said.

"Officials/residents will be administered the ‘Cleanliness Oath’. Thereafter, officials/residents will voluntarily carry out cleaning of their office/residential premises inside and outside. All have been requested to contribute voluntarily towards cleaning of their residential premises, neighbourhod and common facilities so as to provide 100 hours of voluntary contribution during the year," the  President's Secretariat said in a statement.

The “Cleanliness Oath” will be administered to all the officials of the Secretariat and attached offices; residents of President’s Estate and teachers and students of Dr. Rajendra Prasad Sarvodaya Vidyalaya School by Mrs. Omita Paul, Secretary to the President.
