Tamil Nadu: Three persons killed in road accident near Pollachi

Chennai, Feb 24 (UNI/IBNS) Three persons of a family were killed in a car accident, when the car collided with a cement loaded truck at Karumapuram near Pollachi on Sunday.

Two of them died on the spot immediately after the accident.

Police said Naveen kumar (35), his father Subramani and Kandhasamy, hailing from Namakkal went to Calicut and while their return to Namakkal the accident took place.

Kandhasamy and Subramani died on the spot, while Naveen Kumar lost his life at Coimbatore Medical College (CMC) hospital, police added.
