Hyderabad/UNI: Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy participated in the Christmas celebrations hosted by the state government at LB Stadium on Friday night.

Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy expressed that December is globally acknowledged as a month of miracles.

In line with this, he highlighted a political miracle in Telangana, where the desires of Christians and minorities for a new government were fulfilled.

The Chief Minister noted the recent formation of secular governments in Karnataka and Himachal Pradesh, drawing parallels with the current state of Telangana. He emphasised the collective responsibility of the citizens in ensuring a harmonious society.

Taking the opportunity to appeal to the public, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy urged support for the Congress party in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, criticising the BJP for its focus on elections while neglecting incidents like the one in Manipur.

He condemned the prevention of AICC senior leader Rahul Gandhi from visiting victims of ethnic violence in Manipur, underscoring the need for citizens to prevent such incidents nationwide.

"Our government's main objective is to assist the helpless and provide opportunities to the deserving.

"The Indiramma regime in Telangana is committed to the development of the poorer sections, ensuring the benefits of welfare schemes reach those in need," stated CM Revanth Reddy. He emphasised humility, portraying Jesus Christ as a role model, and pledged to move forward responsibly.

The Chief Minister encouraged citizens to bring their problems to the government's attention, assuring an open-door policy at the State Secretariat for prompt issue resolution.

During the event, Revanth Reddy presented awards to outstanding individuals and organisations in various fields. State Assembly Speaker G. Prasad Kumar, BC Welfare Minister P. Prabhakar, DGP Ravi Gupta, former minister Shabbir Ali, Anjan Kumar Yadav, Sampath Kumar, Christian religious leaders, pastors, and officials were present at the ceremony.
