Thane/UNI: In an unexpected turn of events, a teen girl apparently kidnapped more than 5 years ago, was finally tracked down as a mother of two living in Uttar Pradesh.

The girl, a resident of Rabodi locality here and 17-year-old back then, was thought to be kidnapped on December 10 of 2014.

Subsequently, her father lodged a police complaint and the case was later transferred to the Anti-Human Trafficking Cell (AHTC).

Acting on a tip-off, the sleuths reached a village in Meerut, and found the girl, now 22, living as the mother of two infants aged four and one, stated AHTC senior Inspector Ashok Kadlag.

When brought back here, the girl revealed that she was not kidnapped but eloped with one Nazeem Bulho Khan (24) and settled in the village after marrying him.
