Three killed in road mishap in UP's Moradabad

Moradabad, Mar 16 (UNI) Three people, including a father and daughter, were killed and as many injured seriously in a collision between two vehicles in the Mudhapandey area in this district of Uttar Pradesh, early Saturday morning.

Police said that the collision took place between a speeding truck and mini-truck on a national highway.

The deceased have been identified as Surjit (30), a resident of Mewai village in Shergarh area of Bareilly, his seven-year-old daughter Ritika, who were occupying the mini-truck and died on the spot and Rampal (40), a resident of Bada Gaon in the Milak area of Rampur.

Three other critically injured people have been admitted to the district hospital, police said.
