Three ultras nabbed in Assam

Guwahati, Jun 8 (IBNS): Security forces apprehended three ultras including two NDFB(S) militants from Assam's BTAD area on Wednesday, officials said.

Based on intelligence input, Chirang police launched operation at Sonapur Lalai area under Amguri police station in the BTAD district and nabbed a hardcore militant belonging to NDFB(S).

The nabbed militant was identified as Sabian Mushahary alias Adam and police recovered a hand grenade in possession from him.

On the other hand security forces nabbed a National Santhali Liberation Army (NSLA) militant named Berenthius Hembrom from Thakurpur area in Kokrajhar district and a NDFB(S) militant Rajen Narzary from Santipur area under Kachugaon police station in the BTAD district.
