New Delhi/IBNS: A large number of police personnel on Tuesday staged a protest outside Delhi police headquarters against the attacks on cop by the lawyers in Tis Hazari Court here last week.

Several retired police officers have also joined the protest.

Police personnel were seen wearing a black band to condemn the violence.

Lawyers and police personnel clashed at the Tis Hazari Court in New Delhi on last Saturday.

During the clash, several cars were set ablaze.

Sources claimed that the lawyers were angry over parking issues in the complex.

They have locked themselves inside the court premises, preventing police and media persons from entering.
