TMC leader, his two associates killed in West Bengal's Canning

Kolkata/IBNS: A Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader and his two associates were killed by some men in West Bengal Canning, which is about 50 kms away from Kolkata, media reports said.

The three were killed in a crowded area.

Swapan Majhi, a member of Gopalpur Gram Panchayat, was shot and attacked with knives when he was on the way to a meeting in the morning.

While they were fleeing, Majhi's two aides were also shot.

Probe is underway.
