Tractor-trolley falls in pond in Uttar Pradesh's Kasganj, 15 die

At least 15 people died and several others were injured as a tractor-trolley fell into a pond in Patiali area of Kasganj district in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday, police sources said here.

The death toll is likely to increase.

As soon as the news of the accident was received, the SDM and CO of Patiali reached the spot along with the police force.

Kasganj Superintendent of police confirmed that the tractor-trolley overturned after it fell into the pond and said SDM and CO Kasganj are present at the incident site. Relief and rescue work is going on.

Patiali CO Vijay Singh Rana has also confirmed the incident and said the deceased and injured are being evacuated.
