Trains halted in Haryana after explosive material found on tracks
Chandigarh, Jul 22 (IBNS) Trains were halted by authorities in Haryana's Shahbad town on Wednesday after explosive materials were found near the railway tracks.
Reports said the explosive material was found by some people who informed the police.
Local authorities sought the help of bomb experts from the army. The material was removed from the tracks.
The affected trains included Kalka-Delhi Shatabdi, Delhi-Amritsar Express, Shan-e-Punjab and other local passenger trains.
Railway traffic on the route was restored later.
