Two absconding drug peddlers arrested in Mizoram

Lunglei (Mizoram)/IBNS: Police arrested two absconding drugsmugglers belonging from Assam in Mizoram's Lunglei district.

According to Lunglei district police, in pursuance of specific intelligence, two wanted- Sajid Ahmed (29) and Abdul Motin (37), belonging to Karimganj district, were apprehended by Lunglei Police at Lunglei, while boarding one vehicle on Monday evening.

A senior police official of Lunglei district said that the Assam Police team are on their way to take custody of the arrested wanted persons.

"We are also ascertaining their involvements in cases in our state too," the police official said.
