Two terrorists, army soldier killed in Kashmir encounter

Srinagar, Dec 4 (IBNS): Two terrorists and an army soldier were killed in a gunfight while three civilians were injured in ensuing clashes in Qazigund area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Monday.

An official said that a soldier of Sikh Li wounded in the gunfight succumbed at a hospital.

He said another soldier was injured in the firefight.

Director General of Police (DGP) S P Vaid said that the bodies of two militants were recovered from the site of gunfight.

“The search operation is on,” he said in a tweet.

Meanwhile, three civilians were injured in clashes near the site of the gunfight in Bounigamarea.
