New Delhi, Feb 1 (IBNS): Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley is likely to present his fourth budget on Tuesday.

However, there has been talks that the presentation of the budget could be postponed by a day following the death of Former Union Minister E Ahamed.

While government sources have told NDTV that Finance Minister will go ahead and present the budget, Lok Sabha Speaker  Sumitra Mahajan is likely to take a call on the matter.

The budget  assumes significance as it will be the first one since the Union government announced banning of old Rs 1000 and Rs. 500 currency notes.
