Union Home Minister Amit Shah offers prayers at Baba Baidyanath Dham

Deoghar: Home Minister Amit Shah visited the temple town on Saturday and offered prayers at Baba Baidyanath Baba Dham.

Amit Shah reached the Deoghar Airport by a special flight from where he drove straight to the temple.

At the temple, he was welcomed by the senior BJP leaders of Jharkhand and the state's Agriculture Minister Badal.

Inside the temple, he was accompanied by BJP state president Deepak Prakash, Former Chief Ministers Babu Lal Marandi and Raghubar Das, Deoghar MLA
Narayan Das, Godda MP Nishikant Dubey and Agriculture Minister Badal Patralekh.

After the prayers at the temple, he will also attend the foundation laying programme for the nano fertiliser production unit in the industrial area in Jasidih followed by a public meeting and will also attend the centenary function of the RK mission.

This is the second visit by the Home Minister in less than a month to Jharkhand as previously he had addressed a public meeting in Chaibasa on January 7.
